One-off compensation to families who lost their breadwinner in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident
- spouses who have not remarried;
- children until they reach the age of 18, and if they continue their education in daytime schools - until they graduate from that school, but at the latest until they reach the age of 23.
- application;
- death certificate of the breadwinner;
- the identification card for participation in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident of the breadwinner in original and copy;
If the beneficiary is the spouse of the deceased breadwinner, the following documents must be submitted as an original and a copy.
- marriage certificate;
- identity card;
- certificate of marital status.
If the beneficiary is the child of the deceased breadwinner, the following documents must be submitted as an original and a copy.
- child's birth certificate;
- identity card of the legal representative, accompanied by the decision of the guardianship authority (if the child of the deceased breadwinner is a minor);
- certificate of education issued by the educational institution concerned, for children aged between 18 and 23;
- identity card, if the child of the breadwinner is over 18 years (if he/she is continuing his/her education in an educational institution at daytime school and is under 23 years), but fulfilled the conditions set out in this Regulation at the time of the death of the breadwinner.
One-off compensation for families who have lost their breadwinner is granted in the amount of 15 average monthly wages per republic, established for the year preceding the death of the breadwinner.
