In the context of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the fighting on the Dniester, the Law no. 63/2022 on the support of the participants in the fighting for the defence of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova and members of their families establishes unique material aid to the beneficiaries of monthly state allowances, established according to the Law no. 121/2001 on additional social protection of certain categories of population, as follows:
a) military staff on active service, reservists called up for concentration, volunteers and collaborators of the internal affairs bodies, state security bodies and the penitentiary administration system, included in the military units and special structures in combat positions, as well as military staff, collaborators of the internal affairs bodies, state security bodies and the penitentiary administration system and civilian persons delegated to these units to carry out special missions for the purpose of ensuring the effectiveness of combat actions for the defence of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova;
b) persons with disabilities among military, intelligence and security officers, persons in the command corps and troops of internal affairs bodies and the penitentiary administration system, whose disability was caused by injury, contusion or crippling during combat actions for the defence of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova;
c) surviving spouses of participants in combat actions for the defence of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova who died in the line of duty or of persons with disabilities resulting from combat actions for the defence of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova who have died;
d) one of the parents of the participants in the actions to defend the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova fallen in the line of duty. In the case of divorced parents, the amount established shall be divided equally between them.
The amount of the unique material aid is 2500 MDL.
The unique material aid will be granted by the state social insurance bodies automatically on the basis of the information on the beneficiaries of monthly state allowances according to the Law no. 121/2001.
The payment of the unique material aid is made by the payment method selected by the beneficiary and available in the Government Electronic Payment Service (MPay).
The unique material aid amounts are payable by December 27, 2022.
