The main functions of the General directorate are:
1. the NOSI’s personnel administration by planning, coordination, organization, performing, monitoring and assessing the implementation within NOSI of the procedures regarding:
a) the setting-up and organization of jobs and functions
b) the ensuring the actual need for additional personnel
c) the professional development of the staff
d) the motivation and maintaining the staff
e) the occupational health;
2. the providing of informational and methodological assistance in the given field;
3. data and documents record relating to the NOSIs personnel.
